Bangkok, November 2015

Ok, so maybe I have been travelling a little too much this year. But its all worth it!

So, I made a impromptu trip with Erin to Thailand from 18th November to 20th November. Took him there for some shopping spree with food and massages. Hopefully he did enjoy it.

Flew by scoot this time at about $180 per person. Price is pretty alright for a dreamliner 787. Although the air stewardesses are very noisy. Consistently going around getting people to buy stuff and walking around. Couldn't actually take a proper rest for that 2 hours. Both from SG to BKK and BKK back to SG.

So, took him to my 2nd home. Hence, not much pictures. Stayed in Novotel Platinum Pratunam again. :D So went to platinum mall, MBK, rot fai night market, terminal 21 and the street stalls below Baiyoke sky hotel.

Think Erin had quite a culture shock about how traffic is like in Bangkok, and he didn't felt safe at first. Hopefully he does now.

Anyway, the only shocking thing this time was the traffic when we were on our way back to don meaung airport. The traffic was so so bad that we were stuck in the taxi for 1.5 hours for a 20 min drive road. (We even took the highway). Were so scared that we will miss our plane. But very luckily, we arrived like 20 min before the counter check in closes and then we manage to have our rushed dinner of chicken rice, then went into the airport for our last dinner with Macs - Hokkaido Salmon Burger. Its quite nice (Y). I like it.

So mental note to self to head off for airport another 30min to an hour earlier for plane rides around 8pm. Think our first trip overseas together is a success. :D Till our next trip.
